I'm afraid that the place has been a disappointment. The expectations were very high and the Chocolaterie is placed in a very nice area, touristic, maybe that is why the prices are very high, while the quality of pralines and chocolate is very very low.

Nicely located, nicely furnished. However, the prices leave you speechless and lack any reasonable basis.

The cake is very tasty, but I think it's relatively expensive for the smaller pieces. There is a small rustic room with 4 or 5 tables and you can buy sweet gifts in the small shop. The café is located in the castle district of Dilsberg with beautiful historic houses.

On Saturday we bought a lot of chocolate, jam and cake. It was and is absolutely delicious. We have reserved a table for coffee and cake for Sunday. Unfortunately, Ms. Heß did not say a word that she charges a so-called corona flat rate of € 2 per person. The service staff gave us a handout with the words: "These are our rules of conduct for dealing with Corona." We know that in the meantime, how we have to behave. We had 2 cakes, ice cream, coffee and tea. Everything totally delicious and very good. After paying, we bought more sweets. On the way to the car we thought about how the total price in the café came about. I had pocketed the receipt. We saw it there. € 5 corona package. We had never experienced this on our short trip in any restaurant. Ms. Hess charges a corona flat rate, but she should have mentioned it when making the reservation. Then everyone can decide for themselves whether they want to reserve or not. Actually, Ms. Hess didn't need to do that because of her great products. Therefore only 4 stars

The cakes are not cheap, but they are outrageously good! Caution, risk of addiction ...

If you are in the sorroundings you need to check it out and drink some tee, coffe or the hot chocolate that is awesome. The place is also very old (but renovated) and charming.

Unfortunately, on our last visit on August 25, 2019, the chocolaterie was closed for holidays and the Google listing with the opening hours was not adjusted. Too bad...

We would like to have come to you ... that you are on vacation, but you only learn when you go to the homepage. The opening hours are still indicated by you on the Internet as "open until 18:00".

A very cozy restaurant in the historic core of Dilsberg. Although there is also hearty here, but the focus is clearly on the cake and desserts, above all, of course, the chocolate in all variations. In addition to the cozy guest rooms on the ground floor and first floor, there is also a small terrace with a beautiful view over the village. The highlight for non-smokers, you do not run the risk of sitting in a cloud of vapor, smoking is not allowed on the terrace. In the entrance there is a small shop where you can buy chocolate, chocolates and other sweets. So if you do not have enough, you can also take something home with you.

Lovingly decorated shop! This is where the right feel-good atmosphere comes up! There is also outdoor seating on a small roof terrace. Not only chocolate treats are offered here, but also hearty food, such as the delicious yeast fillet with leek, bacon and onions. The cake and chocolates are extremely good! It is worth stopping by on a visit to Dilsberg!
